Suggested Reading Material The reading list below is meant to assist teachers in developing their lesson plans or coursework in the study of Oregonšs archaeology or of archaeology in general. Exploring Oregon's Past: A Teacher's Activity guide for Fourth Through Seventh Grades. This Bureau of Land Management document provides an extensive variety of lesson plans for teachers who wish to include a little or a lot of archaeology in their curriculum. In addition the folks who developed the lesson plans made sure they are "aligned" with the Oregon Comprehensive Curriculum Goals (CCGs) in science, social science, art language arts and mathematics.
