The OAS Training Program was developed to provide basic and advanced educational opportunities for OAS volunteers. This training series teaches archaeological novices the basic knowledge to understand procedures and what is expected of them on archaeological sites and lab. We also provide advanced technical archaeological training in the form of lectures and workshops given by professionals. These lectures and workshops expand our knowledge of archaeological field methods, laboratoryanalysis, and survey methods.
